Patricia Gucci, the grandchild of the man behind the Gucci fashion empire, Guccio Gucci, initially shunned the world of fashion. After growing up in homes all over the globe, living in London, Italy, and Switzerland, she relocated to New York to focus on launching an acting career. Acting work was not particularly forthcoming, and after a year of studying in the Big Apple, she agreed to return to the family business. For much of the 80s, she was on the Board of Gucci, and also served as an Ambassador for the line in both the US and Asia. After the company was sold to Investcorp in the late 80s, she moved to Switzerland, and has since raised a family of her own. While her life seems fairly mundane on paper, she is still the heir to one of the most successful fashion fortunes in the world. This means that she owns multiple properties. Recently, she put her massive compound in California on the market.

The compound includes an 11,000 square foot main house, along with a separate guest house, a swimming pool, a spa, a kennel, and a tennis court. There are ten bedrooms, ten bathrooms, and a large media room for private movie viewing in Patricia Gucci’s house. The home also features very high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, multiple fireplaces, and large eat-in-kitchen. Patricia Gucci’s house is listed for $9,000,000. The price is actually quite reasonable for the amount of space on offer, but the fact that the compound appears to be in the middle of nowhere, may deter even the most staunch fashionistas from buying it.
