Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are a match made in tabloid heaven. She's appeared on a dizzying number of reality shows, has more endorsement deals than just about anyone else on the planet, and has managed to make more money from her highly publicized wedding (and divorce) than most people make in five years. Kanye West's fame as a musician and producer, is trumped only by his handful of slightly unhinged public appearances, such as interrupting Taylor Swift's VMA acceptance speech, or comparing himself to Hitler during his performance at the Big Chill Festival in England. All Kanye has to do is open his mouth, and he's in the headlines. Consequently, the fact that these two tailor-made newsmakers joined forces, and made a baby, no less, has every pop culture editor just about doing the dance of joy. The two stars seem to know exactly how much their notoriety is worth, and have managed to make a tidy sum on exclusive interviews and photos. Their future child's college education has been paid for, and then some. They have also been off-loading a lot of real estate lately, as they continue to build a life together. This week, Kanye West put his house in the Hollywood Hills on the market.




Kanye West's house is 4,214 square feet and contains three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. The house was built in 2002, and features a number of luxury touches, including floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood floors, walk-in closets, and stunning views of the surrounding area. Kanye West's house is also completely computer controlled, and has maid's quarters, a home theater, a media room, and a bar. The decor in the house currently screams "Bachelor Pad", so it stands to reason that he's put the place on the market now that he is deep into a relationship. Kanye West's house is priced at $3.3 million. Hopefully he won't say anything totally bizarre between now and it's actual sale, or it could make it even more difficult to unload.

In about seven months the world will be introduced to a brand new Fresh Prince (or Princess) of Bel-Air. England has William and Kate, America has Kim and Kanye. Following in William and Kate’s footsteps, “Kimye” recently announced that they were expecting their first child. And just like their British counterparts, Kim and Kanye’s royal offspring will be a Prince or Princess. Fittingly, Kim and Kanye just dropped $11 million on a mindbogglingly awesome new mansion in Bel Air, California. Most websites you’ll see today will just have bare bones info and one photo of the new house under construction. Well, I just spent two hours digging through recent Los Angeles real estate sales and property records to find all the juicy details and 14 awesome photos of Kim and Kanye’s new house that you wont find anywhere else…

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are definitely taking the non-traditional relationship route. Most people date for a couple years, get married, buy a house, nest for a while then have their first baby. Kim and Kanye dated for what felt like a month, skipped marriage, got pregnant and now are buying a house together. And not just any house, an absolutely insane $11 million Bel Air mansion. Kim and Kanye’s new house is located at 11790 SOUTHAMPTON Ct, Bel Air, CA 90077. I don’t feel too bad exposing their address because the house is located in the ultra-exclusive gated community Bel Air Crest that has one entrance with 24 hour armed guards and roving security. So good luck trying to party crash. The newly built 9,000 square foot house sits on a 37,000 square foot lot that was designed by Ron Firestone and has never been occupied. The mansion is two stories and features five bedrooms, 6.5 baths, elevator, basketball court, bowling alley, full hair and makeup salon, wine cellar, infinity pool, tennis court, spa, outdoor pavilion and entertaining area. And if for some reason Kimye get bored or lonely at their mansion, the Bel Air Crest community has five private tennis courts, a putting green, club house and pool.

It’s unclear whether or not the couple is splitting the cost of the mansion or if one person is the primary owner, but considering the couple has a combined net worth of $130 million, spending $11 million on a house is just a drop in the bucket. Assuming they put 20% down ($2.2 million) and financed the remaining $8.8 million, their monthly mortgage will be $42,000! Add to that an annual property tax bill of $110,000, insurance, home owners association dues, upkeep etc and it’s likely that Kim and Kanye’s monthly nut will be $60-70,000.

Kim and Kanye Are Selling and Moving (PHOTOS)



The wheels of the rumor mill are already grinding away this morning, and it’s an interesting tale they’re turning out. According to the diligent detectives at TMZ, recording artist Kanye West and reality star Kim Kardashian have both quietly put their Los Angeles-area homes up for sale under a ‘pocket listing’. The inevitable conclusion of such actions – Kim and Kanye may be looking for a place to rent together.




There’s no doubt that both of the properties will sell quickly. West’s minimalist modern (top and above) has some swank accommodations, as shown in these listing photos from 2010. Clean interiors, shimmery chandeliers, sweeping city views – it’s all here. There’s even an aquarium in the master bathroom. The interiors of Kardashian’s posh Mediterranean-style home (below) are, by contrast, appointed with crown moldings, hardwood floors, and more traditional furnishings, while the grounds are replete with lawns, porticos, patios, and pools. The properties have reportedly been listed for $5 million each.
