Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie’s 16th Century Estate In Scotland

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have moved into a rented 16th century estate in Scotland as Brad Pitt is working on his new movie in Glasgow. The 16th century estate is actually a towerhouse that boasts a ten acre garden and is located in Ayrshire. The place can accommodate up to 18 people and has several bedrooms, two dining rooms and official rooms.

The interior design differs from room to room but the country style can be seen especially in the bedrooms and the bathroom (picture in the gallery below). The rooms are light and spacious. Some are decorated with ornate molding  and almost each room has a fireplace. The Red Dining room can seat up to 30 people while the Vaulted Dining room with a fireplace, tartan curtains and upholstery seats 14 people.

The architecture of Carnell Estates represents a towerhouse with neo-Jacobean style additions. The entry features beautifully built-in floor-to-ceiling windows. The garden that was established in early 1900′s features ten acres of trees, flowers, and greenery with pond and benches. The path to the estate is lined with decorative shrubs and small trees.

The house is truly picturesque, the greenery grows up its walls while the green landscapes and lawns surrounding it add some magic to its antique architecture and history.

Rumour has it Brad Pitt married his long-time partner Angelina Jolie - the mother of his six kids - on the Turks & Caicos Islands in the Caribbean. Mega-star Brad Pitt has listed his Malibu beach house for $13.75 million.

The 4 bed, 4 bath, 4,088 square foot home on the Encinal Bluffs faces Point Mugu State Park on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other, and features spectacular ocean views. The Mid-Century Modern main house was recently renovated, and its luxe amenities include a modern stainless kitchen with top-line appliances, bamboo flooring, and walls of glass that look out over the ocean. Two of the 4 bedrooms are currently being used as offices.

The gated home also includes stairs and beach access to a private cove, 3 fireplaces, a security system, and tennis court. Buyers who need more square footage will be happy to know that the property has Planning and Coastal approval for an additional story designed by Chris Sorenson.

Brad Pitt is, along with life partner Angelina Jolie, one half of one of the most famous couples in Hollywood. He most recently appeared in “The Tree of Life,” and will soon be seen in the baseball business movie “Moneyball.” Angelina Jolie was recently cast as Cleopatra in a new film version of the famous queen’s life which is set to appear in 2013.

The estate is called "Chateau Miraval" has 35 bedrooms and it sits on 1,000 acres and is said to be worth $70 million.

Some of the extravagant features include, indoor and outdoor pools, an enormous banquet hall, two gyms, plus outdoors you have a glorious vineyard, large pond and plenty of think forest trees surrounding the property.

Oh and if they ever get bored at their place, they can always swing by one of the neighbors houses, David and Victoria Beckham, Johnny Depp and Bono.

BRAD PITT & ANGELINA JOLIE BUY $16 MILLION LONDON DREAM HOME

Actors Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reportedly bought a house in Richmond, West London, for an amazing $16.18 million, the Sun said. The Hollywood superstars have taken the opportunity to buy the home, called Whornes Place, after having rented it for $50,000 a month last year.

“They loved it when they were in the UK last year,” a source close to the couple told the newspaper. “They like the culture and are happy for their children to receive schooling here. They think Richmond is a beautiful part of the world.”

The couple, along with their six children, has planned to stay in London for at least two years post marriage, as Jolie would be shooting three movies in Britain one after the other.

“Angelina starts work on her next film, Maleficent, in about three weeks so Brad will look after their brood over summer as he won’t start work on the Ridley Scott film until September,” the source said.

According to the report, the Whornes Place in Richmond has caught the eyes of the couple, where Brad was filming horror thriller World War Z.

The exquisite Richmond property seems to be atop the couple’s list after they rented it for $48,540 in 2011.

“Brad and Angelina hold an affection for the UK so this investment makes sense,” the source added.

According to a recent bit, Brangelina will get hitched by this summer at a private chapel near the village of Correns in southern France.

The source confirmed: “No date has been set [for the wedding] yet but they’ll probably go back to their home in France to get married.”
