Real Madrid soccer—sorry, football—player and international heartthrob Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a three-bedroom condo in Midtown, the Post reports. Ronaldo laid down $18.5 million for the 2,509-square-foot three-bedroom pad at 721 Fifth Avenue, the esteemed Trump Tower where gratuitous amounts of wood paneling and veined marble are the norm. The apartment is adding fuel to the fire that Ronaldo is looking to sign on a MLS team when his Real Madrid contract expires in 2018. Before Rinaldo signed on the pad on Wednesday, it belonged to Italian real estate mogul Alessandro Proto.
