Miami Heat Sell Tim Hardaway’s House (Top)
Back in 2011, the Miami Heat threw Tim Hardaway a bone in the form of buying his Florida home. Despite making $46.6 million for his career, Hardaway was, at the time, under the IRS microscope for tax troubles, but managed to save face by selling his 7,542-square-foot home to the Heat ownership group, including team president Pat Riley, for $1.985 million. Two years removed from the purchase, the Miami owners have finally washed their hands of Hardaway’s estate, selling the Mediterranean spread that has a pool and a private Heat-themed basketball court for $2.3 million.

Tom Glavine Lists Atlanta Mansion
It’s really kind of cool that, after all those years playing together with the Atlanta Braves, pitching legends Tom Glavine and John Smoltz live within 11 miles of one another. Even cooler is the fact that you could buy either one of Cy Young Award-winners’ homes right now – that is, if you have the cash. The world gave pause for a moment in 2011 when Smoltz listed his massive sportsman estate in Alpharetta for $7.2 million. Now, his former pitching-mate, Glavine, has followed suit with a mansion of his own. The 10-time All-Star asks $1.995 million for his Alpharetta home, which swells to 10,222 square feet and has its own full-size basketball court, an indoor golf simulator and a sweet backyard baseball diamond.
Former No.1 Draft Pick Selling Home
Ki-Jana Carter, the 1st-overall pick in the 1995 NFL Draft, is looking to part ways with his Plantation, FL estate. The former Penn State great, whose pro career never quite played out the way many expected, asks $1.77 million for the 9,477-square-foot spread, which has some impressive sports memorabilia hanging from the rafters.
Someone Please Buy Jamie Moyer’s House
On the market for as long as I can remember, Jamie Moyer has reduced the price on his Seattle estate. Previously askingas much as $5.35 million, the veteran Major League pitcher has slashed his asking price considerably and now asks $4.4 million for the 7,100-square-foot home. Built in 1933, the brick-lined home comes with 7 bedrooms and 5 baths, an outdoor pizza oven, bath house, croquet yard and the baseball player-mandated indoor batting cage.
Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Aims for Vegas Home Knockout
Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather, Jr. got paid and then some last year to the tune of $90 million, a figure that made him the highest-paid U.S. athlete for the second consecutive year. So what does America’s richest athlete do for an encore performance? That would be adding a few more million to the coffers by selling his Las Vegas mansion. Mayweather looks to bank $3.35 million for his Sin City spread, which weighs in at 7 bedrooms, 9 baths and roughly 7,300 square feet. Built in 2005, the welterweight champion’s spread spares no expense with a vaulted ceilings and marble flooring, along with amenities like a chef’s kitchen and a posh sunken living room.
