Kris Humphries’ House

Kris Humphries’ House: When Life Gives You Lemons… Rent a New House

What a difference a year can make. Not so long ago, Kris Humphries was on top of the world. He’d had a fantastic season with the New Jersey Nets, and he was one of the most envied men in America, as he planned to wed reality television celebrity, Kim Kardashian. By the end of 2011, however, things had started to fall apart. First, his marriage only lasted 72 days. After the incredible media circus that had surrounded the pre-wedding preparations and the ceremony itself, the fact that the actual marriage only lasted two and a half months made Mr. Humphries a sitting duck for gossip rags. Then another woman sued him for allegedly giving her herpes. That is one of those lawsuits that, no matter the outcome, he has already pretty much lost, simply because of the damage to his image. The only bright spot in the last year has been his career with the newly renamed, Brooklyn Nets, and the $24 million contract he signed with them in July 2012. The hefty influx of cash has allowed him to rent an especially swanky new pad in lower Manhattan.

Kris Humphries’ house in the Battery Park neighborhood of New York City, contains three bedrooms and two bathrooms. He is renting the apartment for $8,000 per month, and the property affords him with a gorgeous view of the Hudson River. Kris Humphries’ house also features hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a state-of-the-art kitchen. The entire building is environmentally friendly, and there is also a private gym, a rooftop deck, and a swimming pool on the premises. After a year like he’s had, Kris Humphries’ house must feel like an oasis.
