Lady Gaga's Ocean Front Luxurious Home

When I heard that Lady Gaga bought a $22 million estate overlooking Zuma Beach in Malibu, I kind of expected it to be something flashy and contemporary. I was pleasantly surprised to see it’s actually a more traditional French Provincial-style home that was designed by architect Steve Giannetti.
Steve Giannetti and his wife Brooke, who writes the popular design blog Velvet&Linen, are amazingly talented. I’ve got their book Patina Style sitting on the coffee table in my sunroom right now. So I was excited to see what he did with this house in Malibu.
His portfolio describes this project as “An Equestrian Estate overlooking Zuma Beach in Malibu that was based on a collection of European farmhouses. Construction by John Finton and interiors by Madeline Stuart.
The house was built in 2006 on nearly 6 acres. It comes with a barn for up to eight horses, a riding arena, and a number of pens and riding trails.
The kitchen has a limestone island, a Wolf range, and a terrace with ocean views.
There’s a “secret door” that leads to what the former owner called the Bat Cave — an 800-bottle wine cellar, home theater with bar, and a way cool vintage Brunswick Bowl two-lane bowling alley from the 1960s with original scoreboard.
This bedroom is in a separate guest house with a kitchenette:
Here’s how it looked when it was featured in Veranda:

Inside Taylor Swift's Magnificent Home

Taylor Swift's gorgeous New York City penthouse has been the backdrop for many an Instagram post ever since she officially moved into it back in October of last year.
But now, after literally MONTHS of waiting, we’ve finally been treated to a proper look at Taylor’s pad, as the real estate photographs from her purchase back in 2014 have finally been made public. And, needless to say, it’s as stunning as we dreamt it would be.
The photos, which have been released by StreetEasy, show the penthouse in all of its wood paneled glory. Yep, it’s not hard to see why she forked out £12.8 MILLION for it…
With an undeniably country-esque feel to the apartment, this is definitely a home away from home for Taylor, who originally hails from Texas. Who’d have thought this place lurked inside the red brick warehouse-style building? What a hidden treasure.
Inside the place, Taylor’s channelled a rustic vibe thanks to the earthy tones and rich fabrics used throughout. The seven bedroom and five bathroom pad was previously owned by Lord of the Rings director, Peter Jackson, and the 25-year-old songstress counts Justin Timberlake as her closest A-list neighbour—pretty good company to keep, huh?
After seeing her kitchen, its no wonder Tay spends 99.9% of her spare time baking! We’re felling those marble worktops.
We wonder if this is the very sofa Taylor and her BF Calvin Harris snuggle up on in the midst of a Netflix binge. Dreamy.
Ok, we get it, there’s TONNES of space, but is there any need for four sofas? Really?

Never has one woman needed so much wood polish...

Tom Cruise Secretly Lists His Beverly Hills Mansion

Tom Cruise may be in the throes of a real estate overhaul. In the past year alone, he's listed three homes, including his Colorado vacation home, which asked $59 million last October, one of hisLA mansions, priced at $13 million in March, and now, his impressive Beverly Hills estate.
According to Variety, the uber-private Cruise is reportedly shopping the mansion as a whisper listing, asking $50 million for the home he and ex-wife Katie Holmes bought for $30.5 million in 2007.
While married, Cruise and Holmes used the multi-winged, seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion as their primary residence, as the 1.3 acre property provided plenty of privacy for the sought-after couple.
Although it's unclear where Cruise will settle after he sells this home — he also parted with his two New york City properties in 2013-if his previous real estate holdings are any indication, it will surely be impressive. Or, at the very least, expensive.
Because Cruise's Beverly Hills mansion isn't on the open market, interior shots are not available. But we have an idea of what it looks like based on what we've seen of the A-lister's other homes, below.

Giuliana & Bill Rancic's Remodeled Chicago Home

Bill and Giuliana Rancic’s newly remodeled Chicago brownstone is featured in Traditional Home magazine, and when I saw the pictures, I was curious about what the house looked like before. After a little digging, I found the listing photos from 2013, and you can hardly tell it’s the same place now.
The brownstone has three floors connected by beautiful staircases and generous landings like above.
Formal living room and dining room, Bulthaup kitchen with skylight. Many vintage details remain: an exquisite staircase, pocket doors, wainscoting panels, natural woodwork and moldings. High ceilings. Three wood-burning fireplaces.
4 Bedrooms, 4 Baths and 4,600 Sq Ft
The kitchen looked small and out of place in the house and was one of the major changes they made in the house.

Remodeled House
Once you walk through the front door — nothing inside the house looks remotely the same.

Bill Rancic grew up in Chicago and says, “We knew the family who lived here before, and they put a great vibe in this house that we hope to continue. We’ve always had one foot here, and now we have two. Finally, we’re home.”

Designer Lonni Paul, who you may remember as a contestant on HGTV’s “Design Star” a few years ago, says, “In this rowhouse, which doesn’t allow light to pour in from either side, the blue functioned as a tool to create light and airiness that wouldn’t read heavy and dull when the sky turned cold and gray.”

Duke's Bedroom
The reality-TV stars have been married since 2007 and are parents to Duke, who’s three. I thought I remembered seeing the same monogrammed crib in their former home in California, and sure enough, here it is in his old nursery:

This is one busy couple. Besides the reality-TV shows they’ve starred in over the years, Bill (who was the first winner of The Apprentice) is an entrepreneur, real estate developer, author, and Food Network host.
Giuliana designs a clothing line for HSN, has her own wine collection, and has written three books. And oh, yeah, they own a couple of restaurants in Chicago, too. Whew.

They turned it into a private outdoor entertaining space.
After 14 years in front of the camera, Giuliana signed off from her E! News hosting duties earlier this month and can now spend more time here. “This is the most meaningful of any place we’ve lived in together because it’s where we brought our baby home and became parents,” says Giuliana. “In past years, we’ve been in a hotel during the holidays. This year, we will put up our own tree.”
